Gracey 5/6 curette

Gracey 5/6 is area specific curette used for subgingival debridement of upper and lower anterior teeth and smaller upper and lower premolars. This curette may be used on all surfaces of the mentioned teeth.

After identification of the cutting edge, curette is inserted into the pocket and vertical strokes are used for calculus removal. The terminal shank should remain parallel with the tooth surface during debridement to achieve maximum efficacy.
